Please do not go to Ukraine just to find a bride. It demeans Ukrainians in the eyes of the world and it makes us seem like Soviet trash. If you really do fall in love, then great! Have fun eating varenyky and borscht, but don’t go there because of the stereotype that all Ukrainian women will do anything to go to America.

Please understand that Ukraine is not!! a second world country where people are looking to marry foreigners to move abroad for a better life, unlike other places such as the Philippines or Thailand.
Ukraine is a european country, and as such has the same culture as places such as France or the UK.
If you are thinking of going to Ukraine then yu should learn some of the language, ie some Russian and if going to west Ukraine then Ukrainian.
Go for a holiday by all means, and if you do meet someone then fine.
Do not however go with the sole purpose of finding a Ukrainian girl who will marry you just because you are living in America, as you ill be very dissapointed.
